Career Development Programme

For autistic people who want to gain the knowledge and skills to get into employment

Autistic people, with our guidance plus specialist support from mentors, will develop a digital agency and create websites for contractors to gain the skills and knowledge to be successful in the digital industry. Skills and knowledge will be transferable to other sectors. We will also offer applications advice, interview skills sessions and more.

Everything achieved will be programmed into the individual's personal profile website which potential employers will be able to access online.

Autism Champions Programme - Primary Schools

Raising awarness of autism amongst primary school children and encouraging them to support their classmates

Research suggests the main reason for unhappiness in autistic children at school is their peers not understanding autism. This programme encourages children to see that autism is amazing and that it is ok to be different.

Children can also be nominated as 'autism champions' who will work together to write support strategies for autistic children, based on what they have learned.

Sensory Football

Running specialist football sessions that are accessible for autistic children, improve sensory integration and teach self-regulation strategies
Offering training to mainstream football clubs to make them more inclusive

Autistic children often struggle to find social opportunities that are suitable to their needs. Our football sessions will use specialist equipment and techniques to first make sure the children enjoy the sessions and make friends, but also learn about self regulation strategies.

If your child wants to go to a mainstream club, we also offer training to football clubs and coaches about how to make their sessions more inclusive.

We are going to offer drop-in sessions, training courses and more to parents who want to learn more about how to better support their children. We can also support you in meetings at school, and meet you for 1:1 sessions to give personalised advice and support
